Yesterday (Thursday) mid-afternoon I 'phoned Tek-Tanks, at Alton in Hampshire and ordered a new fuel tank for my boat, specifying pipe connection sizes, etc. Spoke to a charming lady who took my order and called one of their technical people to the phone to answer a problem for me.

Today (Friday) there was a ring at the front door at 11:30. The tank with the specified fittings had arrived here in Falmouth! This is under 20 hours from ordering!

A quick word of thanks for the superlative service we received last week - loved the attitude and diligence of your staff and willingness to ensure satisfaction. Tank is fine, though the sender isn't working, which I'm sure is an electrical fault on my side. Otherwise all good. 

The only caveat of course is that we haven't been out in a blow to test the seals, but I'm sure they'll behave.

If only the rest of the marine industry had your attitude to service (especially a certain engine maintenance outfit in Port Solent!!), the leisure industry would be better for it.
