Manufactured from fully UV stabilized LLDPE (linear low density polyethylene). These water butts will not degrade over time and will retain their strength throughout a 10 to 15 year working life.

The Polybutt is made up three elements.

The Barrel
As with the stand, we have added a gentle wood grain finish and barrel type strapping to produce a rustic “feel” to the finished product.

The Stand
Take a careful look at the interior and see the “kissing rib” construction. This design can withstand the downforce exerted by the weight of stored water as it is transferred across the width of the stand and spread around the perimeter.

The Lid
Again, manufactured from UV stabilised polyethylene so there is no chance of deforming. This is particularly important, as we have designed it to take a plant pot to add to aesthetics of your installed water butt.

The lid can be secured with self tapping screws making it child friendly as the lid cannot be removed without a screwdriver. The lid can be easily drilled to take a down spout or rainsaver device.

We have decided to include a rainsaver diverter with the Polybutt as standard. This will fit both 68mm round and 65mm square plastic downpipes. The pipe which connects the downpipe and water butt is 500mm in length.

Your Polybutt will come ready assembled with the lid and waterbutt tap attached.
