Bolt Bases

TruDesign Bolt Base Fastening Systems enable strong surface adhesion without sacrificing the integrity of the hull, gel coat, or bulkhead structures.
The innovative dovetail jointed base supports significant holding loads for its size. Manufactured from composite glass-reinforced Nylon6 (PA6), they are both strong and lightweight, helping to reduce costs in the construction process.

• M6 and M8 bolt bases allow easy bolt fastening of cable trays, control boxes, and other equipment to GRP hulls
bulk heads and ceiling structures.
• Rated breaking strain (straight pull) of base on GRP surface using Methacylate Glue – 150kg
• Rated breaking strain (side pull) of base only, on GRP surface using Methacylate Glue – 75kg. Note measured
35mm to 40mm inboard of fitting.

• Compatible with DIN 931 Hex Head Bolts (Bolt not included)
• Clip feature to retain bolt during installation
• Multiple Dove tail joints for strong adhesive bonding to aluminium, steel, wood or GRP Bulkheads
• Dual mounting options – Adhesive or screws.

• Immune to corrosion and electrolysis – No corrosion or breakages, increased safety
